Caregiver Support Group Calendar
Caregiver
support and education are key components to the "Circle of Care" we
provide for families. Ann Spinks, our social worker offers three
support groups at the Center, two for participants' families and one for the public. Two support groups are offered for the family caregivers of the participants who attend the Center. They have the option of attending each month that Ann Spinks, our social worker, facilitates. One is held on the fourth Tuesday of each month from 9 to 10 AM; the other is on the last Thursday from 5 to 6 PM.
Ann also facilitates a Parkinson’s support group on the first Tuesday of each month from 7 to 8:30 PM; this group is open to those with Parkinson’s disease and their caregivers in the greater Richmond area.
