Nutrition

Good nutrition is important. Getting an older adult to eat at home may be a challenge for the family caregiver. We serve breakfast, hot lunch (special diets are available), a mid-morning snack and a mid-afternoon snack during the week. On Saturday we open at 9 AM, with lunch and two snacks provided.

Monthly Lunch Menu

Staff assists with feeding when a participant is unable to manage successfully alone. Special utensils and adaptations are available as needed. The Center’s occupational therapist is available for consultation for those with eating or self-feeding difficulties and dementia-related nutritional problems.
